: Application of Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) Program (Study of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Malang). SIMPEG is a program created to address some of the challenges that will occur in personnel administration in Indonesia in the future, the aim is to assist in the management of employee data information which can generate valid data, integrated and cutting-edge. One government instation is implementing SIMPEG Employment Agency (BKD) Malang, Malang BKD purpose implement the program to provide personnel information that is valid, transparent and professional to the Civil BKD Malang. Malang Regional Employment Board also considers SIMPEG program as a container for personnel who want to know the personnel information in one system. When the program is not implemented SIMPEG will bring up the impact that could destabilize the information and if you still use the manual method will mislead the archives at BKD Malang risk of being lost in the event of fire and other threat factors, and cause the performance of civil servants in Malang BKD ineffective and efficiently. Thus the need for further assessment of the application program at BKD SIMPEG Malang. The results of research on the application program at BKD SIMPEG Malang showed no inhibiting factors, namely technical and operational issues eg confusion in operationalising the program causing the staff of BKD Malang still do not understand the procedure. In addition there are several contributing factors in the application program is mastery SIMPEG employee on information technology, technological means, the amount of resources and the security and confidentiality of data.
